The Kerkepanneduinen are situated far inland. They constitute a small nature reserve of 28 hectares that borders directly on the polder. It is the southern edge of what used to be a large area of inland dunes.Nowadays that area has been almost entirely swallowed up by buildingdevelopment. Outside the nature reserve, only the hilliness of the street plan and a few beautifull views remind us of what it was like in years gone by.
