For a portion of super-fresh shrimp and a pile of day-fresh slobber baked in butter, it is best to book a table long beforehand in the Estaminet De Peerdevisscher. The replica fishing inn from the 1920s is located next to the Oostduinkerke Fisheries Museum and is run by an authentic shrimp fisherman who still goes out on horseback as he once did.
